Zuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuune!

Yes, I bought a Zune. No, it does not work with Vista. I needed to pass some time as I repartition my hard drive so I can throw a little XP on it to give my little brown Zune some lovin', so I drew a lovely Zune desktop for all 5 fellow fans of the brown Zune. I think it looks classy; some people insist it looks like shit. To each his own, I suppose.

Been busy with French and Poetry final projects as it's Finals Week... no drawing today, instead you get the product of me dicking around with Photoshop for about a half-hour. Start with a blank page- several scribbles, filters, and layer adjustments later and this is what I got.

The thing in the middle is a poor representation of the Kanji character for alcohol, which is apparently pi climbing a ladder leaning against a tree. Who knew the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter was such an alcoholic? Not me.

It may be cruel, but you know that's how it goes down. Always. The couple was once single, but oh how quickly we forget our lonely times... and if Blogger did this correctly, clicking should give it to you in convenient Desktop Wallpaper size! You know you want it- it's my wallpaper right now.

Sorry for not updating today, guys. Firstly I've gotten sick, so I wasn't feeling too great last night. Secondly my roommate took the tablet with her to the fiance's house to work on an animation. I was going to draw anyway with the mouse, or else post one of my backlog drawings... but to top it all off, Blogger was down. So I went to bed instead.

On a side note, I ended up getting one of the last copies of Gears of War in Rochester last night. The game is pretty much phenomenal, even if Fenix keeps accidentally breaking cover and if my AI squadmates keep running straight at the machine gun nest and refuse to even attempt to flank.

Anyway, see you all tomorrow.

Are you psyched? I know I'm psyched. This kid looks pretty psyched, too. Gears of War comes out tomorrow! Supposedly it's been rated the GREATEST GAME EVER IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND. I haven't reserved a copy so I hope I can get one... shouldn't be a problem, despite the proximity of a large tech school to the local GameStop. You see, I am of a rare breed- the RIT student with a car. I've got a leg up here.

To graduate, I need to take a three-course sequence in either Biology, Physics, or Chemistry. I wonder which is my favorite of the three?

Today I realised something important.

I suppose I always knew, somewhere in the back of my mind. Perhaps I was simply in denial. I didn't want to have to deal with these feelings, but I can't ignore them any longer. I HATE ON-CAMPUS SHOPPING AT RIT.

It all started when I just needed some cream. I was making coffee. I just wanted some cream. So I ran downstairs to the Corner Store. But did they have cream? No. They didn't have cream. At all. Nothing even close, like half & half or even cream cheese. Just milk. So, highly disappointed, I grabbed a quart of whole milk (which was something like $1.50) and got in line... behind about twelve other people, with the most emo cashier I'd ever seen. He was wearing long sleeves but I was sure there were scars on his wrists beneath that black. Anyway he was slow as all hell, and kept taking even more time to stare dolefully at every item he scanned. And the kid in front of me smelled funny, so every time I stepped forward it was into the cloud he had created during the three minutes he'd been standing in that exact location. When it was all said and done, I still had over $100 of debit over what I was supposed to have last Friday.

I hate RIT Food Service.

Lately my friends and I have been using "teabag" as a general insult for any wrongdoing (or potential of wrongdoing), as in "If you point that AirSoft rifle at my face one more time, Bob, I will teabag your entire family." Or: "Fucking Photoshop won't- goddamnit, fucking teabag- teabag your fucking mother- goddamnit. Oh, wait, there it goes."
